About the Item

Abstract wooden sculpture, France 1970s. Impressive boulder shaped sculpture with very interesting lines and geometric planes in different angles which gives the sculpture a very dynamic appearance. The piece is sculpted out of one piece of solid wood with an incredible grain and some beautiful characteristic cracks, it gained a nice warm saturated patina over the years. The sculpture stands on a heavy dark stained metal base, which is making a nice contrast with the wood. Outstanding piece in excellent condition.
