About the Item

A striking hand-carved wooden sculpture, nearly 200 cm tall, with a twisted form that evokes organic movement and architectural rhythm. Painted in delicate layers of soft pink, green, and white tones, the surface has a marbled, fresco-like quality that enhances the fluidity of the shape. This architectural piece was made by an Italian cabinetmaker in the late 1700s. These were used in stately residences during the Baroque era. Perfectly suited for the Modern, Art Deco, Scandinavian or antique interior style. An evocative, one-of-a-kind object with presence and personality.
