About the Item

Brutalist sculpture in Marcello Fantoni's style, 50s. Made of copper metal cut with a torch and welded together the pieces that form it, creating a body of purely brutalist phantasmagorical look. Multifaceted in shape and dimensionally svelte, it rests on a rectangular iron base finished underneath in wood. In one corner of the base you can see the stamp of the creator, of which there is not entirely certainty. However, this piece is reminiscent of the creations of Marcello Fantoni (possible attribution), Silas Seandel, Paul Evans and Harry Balmer.
