About the Item

This evocative abstract sculpture was created by British-born Canadian artist Michael Morris. Known for his abstract sculptures and installations throughout the mid-20th century, Morris has created a contemporary piece here that is reminiscent of the post-modernism style he has done so much work for. This piece was displayed in the Michael Morris gallery before becoming a part of a private collection. The piece is signed on the wooden base, and dated 2017. The sculpture itself is labeled '23', asking one to wonder what other pieces are a part of this series. The title of this sculpture is 'Nuclear Problems', no doubt named for its resemblance to the universal symbol for nuclear radiation, when viewed from above. The sculpture is crafted from PVC and mounted on a painted wooden base.
