About the Item

A wooden sculpture in the style of folk art with found objects , wood industrial molds and clock parts titled " Clock Tower " . Painted in tones of ambers, blacks and browns by female Cincinnati artist Rita Wasserman who is now 91 was known for her different styles of art , sculpture , painting and construction . None of her pieces are signed because she believed that art is for everyone and by signing it she would claim it for herself . During the period she exhibited in area galleries and was a member of the Art Guild and private studios and volunteered at the Cincinnati Art Museum .
