Standing 63cm tall, this pair of unique sculptures represent a couple, hand crafted in pigmented scagliola - a lengthy process that involves multiple stages of craftsmanship, sanding, filling and polishing to achieve a smooth marble-like finish.
The marbled scagliola technique results in natural random patterns that emerge from the material, lending each piece an organic and one of a kind appearance. Scagliola is rarely utilised in sculpture, making these artworks particularly distinctive. Each piece, mounted on a steel base, serves as an elegant decorative accent, ideal for display on a console table or as a focal point in any interiors.
