About the Item

Pair of birds with some denting, and heavy patinations, normal tarnishing to dark tarnishing and black staining. Joaquin Humberto Tinta Figueroa (1934- ) The original taller was established in 1880 by his grandfather in Sangolqui, Ecuador. Sangolqui is a small town in the state of Pichincha in the Ecuadorian highlands, and the region is known as the cradle of silversmith. Joaquin continues to work in its centennial workshop with the advice of its ancestors. To continue to create with the metals and beautiful stones not only his own designs but also those of other distinguished artists, like the famous painter Oswaldo Guayasamin.
