Classic late 1900s Black Forest Brienz work of art. This hand carved bear sculpture is a great example of the Black Forest craftsmanship in late 19th century, Germany. The details in the face and mouth are truly wonderful and the artist even managed to give this bear a life-like facial expression. This fine work of art will make a great desk piece, but also on a dresser, side table or in a cabinet this bear will make a decor that will bring a smile to your face every time you look at it. It has a some wormholes in the wood, but this is old-age and the worm is not active anymore.
