About the Item

This very pleasing pair of miniature white dogs with black markings are finely hand painted with good detail and expression. They each show an adult and puppy and the pair are left and right handed for display. They are raised onto oval domed bases in Royal blue and white with a gilt band separating the colours. These very bright and eye catching decorative pieces are in very good condition with no restoration. There is slight age related ware to the gilding. continental circa 1890 Thank you for looking at this rare and interesting pair of hand-painted miniature porcelain dogs.
