About the Item
Decorate a garden or backyard with this heavy antique stone eagle sculpture with base. Crafted in Southern France circa 1880 and almost four feet tall, the large piece features an eagle standing on a rock, holding on with its large talons. The statue is prominently displayed on a heavy round stone base decorated with carved spline motifs. The important sculpture is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a wonderful weathered and patinated finish throughout. The stone garden avian figure will make a lovely addition to a patio, courtyard, or around a swimming pool! The eagle weighs 180 pounds, the base weighs 150, for a combined weight of 330 pounds!
