African Ebony Bird Hair Comb Wall Sculpture - Baoulé Art Bird Sculpture - 1960s African decorative hair comb carved in very dark, dense hardwood, most likely ebony, sculpted in the elegant form of a stylized bird. From Cote d'Ivoire, by Baoulé people circa 1960–1970 The piece features a beautifully curved body, finely incised feather details and long, delicate teeth for the body, forming a strong graphic silhouette. A small hole at the back allows the comb to be wall-mounted on a nail. Good vintage condition with a rich natural patina and minor age-related wear. Perfect as a wall object near paintings and artworks on a gallery wall, or as a collector’s piece. Dimensions : 31cm width x 5,5cm height x 0,5cm depth
