Mighty horse made of albissola glazed ceramic.
Elegant horse made of glazed ceramic with colors of brown and green that increase its power and give it a bronze effect.
The horse is caught in the act of head movement.
In style, materials, and colors it is a likely Albissola pottery from the 1980s.
The pottery produced in the Albissola area has an ancient tradition dating back to Roman times, where there were already kilns for the production of amphorae and bricks.
The era of futurism saw the likes of Lucio Fontana, Enrico Baj and many others in the area to produce wonderful works.
Its attribution is still being studied because under one of its legs it has the inscription Lottero, which for the time being is not linked back to any artist.
The item is in excellent state of preservation and has no defects of any kind.
