Stunning large carved wooden bull wall shelf.
Over the years we have had the pleasure of owning and selling a number of beautiful Black Forest antiques, but never did we come accross a 19th century Black Forest wall bull bracket of this size and with such amazing natural details and warm patina. This marvelously handcrafted and good condition, bull sculpture wall shelf is 130 years old and as rare as a hen's tooth. With the bull also symbolizing Saint Luke in Christianity, this could also be used as a unique wall bracket for a work of religious art / Saint statue. This fine antique also is perfectly hand-crafted and almost as good as the day it left 130 years ago. This great looking and good size antique bracket can be used for all kinds of purposes and its quality, details AND superb condition will never fail to impress. They just don't make 'em like this anymore. So if you are a collector of rare Black Forest antiques or if you are interested in anything to do with beef and/or cattle then maybe you should be the next custodian of this rare antique.
