A striking large ceramic sculpture of a seated cat, handcrafted in the mid-20th century. With its playful expression, rounded body, and stylized features, the piece perfectly reflects the charm and creativity of postwar studio ceramics.
Executed in a deep black glaze with reddish-brown and green accents to the eyes, ears, and paws, the sculpture combines modernist design with a touch of folk art warmth.
