About the Item

Gerard Koch was born in 1926 in Germany and died in 2014 in Paris. He studied at La grande chaumière in Paris and had Zadkine as a professor. His first exhibition was in Paris in 1956. In 1976 he exhibited at the museum of modern art in Paris. This sculpture shows a bird inside a bronze circle which can slightly rotate on the slate base. The bird is attached to a bronze rod and the bird can with the push of a hand rotates on itself. The sculpture is in France and will be shipped for free.
