Rievocando le teorie di Wertheimer, Nucleo opera una segmentazione del campo percettivo che avviene anche in funzione dei depositi mnemonici di ogni passato individuale, in modo da favorire il completamento immaginario di oggetti con i quali si mantiene una familiarità. Corpi già potenzialmente noti in grado di generare entità contrarie rispetto a forme conosciute superficialmente o di quotidiano uso comune. “Boolean” è una testimonianza del costante equilibrio tra precisione e imprevedibilità su cui si basa la ricerca di Studio Nucleo, spesso a cavallo tra visioni del futuro e ricordi del passato. Tale ricerca emerge proprio nella scelta delle forme geometriche e delle proporzioni numeriche, volta alla comprensione empirica dello spazio e del tempo. Nucleo gioca con questi concetti, ridefinendo il destino di un'opera d'arte attraverso l'aggiunta di elementi che creano un'interazione dinamica tra la forma originale e la sua trasformazione, integrando al processo creativo le operazioni di sottrazione, intersezione e unione che sono proprie dell'algebra booleana. Il risultato è un'armoniosa mescolanza di vari elementi tecnici e concettuali, racchiusa nella forma astratta, in cui gli oggetti originali rimangono custoditi e trasformati.
