About the Item

In this listing you will find a brutalist bronze sculpture of a charging or defensive bull on a marble base by Austrian artist Alfred Hrdlicka. The sculpture appears to be patinated bronze. Unlike the most famous Hrdlicka's sculptures which are done on large scales for public spaces, this is a small piece, perfect for a mantle or console, and probably a part of a small edition of pieces. It is signed on the upper side of the base, as shown in pictures. The sculpture was purchased in Vienna at an estate sale. The sculpture is in good condition with no damages, apart from tiny chips and scratches on the marble base. When purchased the sculpture will be carefully wrapped up and packed in a way to avoid any damages in transport. As soon as shipped you will receive the tracking number for your package.
