Carved Elephant, one piece Marble Sculpture
This extremely heavy piece is carved in one piece from a green marble rock, the “Tusks are made in wood”, the carving is very cleverly done showing the deeply grooved and wrinkled skin of the elephant and other parts like the tree stump and the elephant’s ears have been smoothly carved and polished showing the wonderful grain of the dark green and amber marble
The piece is 26” high, 9” wide and 24” long
