About the Item

Circa 1900 hand carved pine horse. This is a wonderful piece of folk art, and may have been a glorious rocking horse when it was made. The horse was painted at one time, as there are still traces of gesso on the horse. The tail appears to be made from horse hair. This would be a fun display piece anywhere in your home or office.
