About the Item
CLEARANCE SALE Eight Inch Tall Bronze-Toned Bird Sculpture on Black Base.
This graceful bird (crane?) is in a minimalist style, great for mid-century modern art and bird lovers.
It measures about 8.75 h x 8d x 6.5w (wingspan) inches. It is heavy.
The bird appears to be metal--we're not certain what kind--and while the base appears to be covered in a black veneer, we think underneath the veneer, the base might also be metal. The base bottom is covered in green felt.
The sculpture is in good vintage condition, having a small chipped area at the bottom edge of the base's veneer. The bird itself shows a bit of wear and pitting consistent with age/use, and some subtle rough areas that appear to have been part of the creating of the piece.
