About the Item
A beautiful and very heavy sculpture of a duck, made of silver-plated brass, entirely in the style of Mauro Manetti. Unsigned, maker unknown. Second half of the 20th century.
This beautiful sculpture is highly detailed and elegant, crafted to a very high standard, with lovely proportions and relief shapes. The sculpture is made of two joined parts; the head was added later, and the base is covered in a black velvet.
The sculpture is in very good vintage condition, with a lovely patina of age. In some places, the silver plating shows some wear, allowing the gold color of the brass to show through, which is also very decorative. See the photos for more details!
