About the Item

This elegant antique bronze sculpture of a standing horse was cast in France in the early 20th century and is signed “Milo” on the naturalistic base. The piece is mounted on a shaped black marble plinth and bears the foundry mark “Bronze Garanti Paris J.B. Déposée,” indicating it was produced by a reputable Parisian foundry known for its fine casting quality. Measuring 11.5” wide by 6.75” deep and 11.5” high, this finely executed bronze is a refined addition to any library, study, or equestrian collection. In excellent condition with light wear to the marble consistent with age.
