About the Item

Impressive patinated bronze designed by baron Carlo Marochetti in 1838, representing Emmanuel-Philibert de Savoie, 10th duke of Savoy. This impressive sculpture comes in a neutral, medium dark patina, and has been cast in Paris by J. B. Deposee Paris, around 1928. Baron Carlo Marochetti (1805 - 1867) was a well received French artist. The piece is sitting on a black marble base and bears the makers mark in coin shape, as much as the artists name ''MAROCETTI 1838''.
