About the Item
Huge special terracotta sculpture of a pair of antelopes. The sculpture is signed and on a solid walnut wood pedestal.
The animal pair is reproduced at the moment of movement. This movement is crafted in a wonderful 1920s form - pure art deco.
On the right end of the terracotta sculpture the name of the creator is readable "Sampietro", an italian artist.
The terracotta figurine is hollow, in exceptionally good condition and has a beautiful patina. Wooden pedestal and figure form a wonderful unit.
Measurements approx.: height 33 cm - 12,99 in, width 64 cm - 25,2 in, depth 21 cm - 8,27 in
This wonderful big sculpture of two antelopes is a wonderful original from the Art Deco period. An exquisite two-piece work that will be a wonderful eye-catcher on any table, chest of drawers or pedestal.
