About the Item
Here is a charming hand-painted Japanese owl figure by Freeman Lederman. Dating from the 1950s, this little sculpture has a bit of a Picasso influence. It retains the original Freeman Lederman foil label. Condition is very good with only minor scuffs in a few spots--but no chips, cracks or repairs. When shaken, you can hear a rattle--this must be from a piece of ceramic that has broken off from the interior--no doubt present since manufacture and by no means effects the overall presentation of this wonderful, decorative owl.
