A charming and most unique French 19th century Louis XVI st. Ormolu and Marble snail paperweight. This wonderful small scale statue is raised by a rectangular Verde Africanato marble base with a concave mottled edge. Above is the charming Ormolu snail with a natural seashell on its back.
