Rare french Art Déco bronze sculpture "Cat" on a black belgian marble base by Lucien Charles Edouard Alliot. (1877-1967).
Signed LUC on the black marble base.
Beautiful original black patinated bronze sculpture from the 1920s. Animal sculptures by the famous sculptor from the Art Nouveau and Art Déco era were often signed LUC.
The figure is very finely crafted. Heavy, outstanding quality.
The size specifications refer to the figure including the marble base. The bronze cat is 15 cm high.
