Bisque porcelain horse head bust on a Sèvres style base by Chamart, signed Beccafichi, France, late 20th century. A stunning sculpture displaying a gentle expression and wind-swept mane exuding power and grace. Beautiful form crafted of bisque porcelain having a soft, unglazed finish to highlight its detail with a texture resembling natural stone, raised upon a cobalt blue and gilt base in classic Sèvres style. A wonderfully executed work capturing the horse's sculpted musculature, sense of movement and nobility evoking vitality and timeless elegance. Marked "CHAMART FRANCE" on underside and signed "Becchafichi." The base is 5.25 inches square.
