About the Item
A fine German large ceramic cockerel figure dating from around 1970. The cockerel stands on a round pedestal base with incised and molded detailing with raised tail feathers and large raised comb. The cockerel is decorated in natural glazed cream colored finish with gilded elements to the head, tail feathers and feet. This large and impressive figure has blue printed makers marks to the base along with several impressed numbers
