These small leather animals are folded from a thicker piece of brown leather and riveted . Stamped: Deru. Germany
Origami technique.
The manufactorer Deru in Wiesbaden produced these handmade charming leather animals in the 1960s.
Unfortunately, nothing is known about this company and its designers.
These small iconic animals now have a high collector´s value. Comparable with the animals from Omersa.
This smaller boxer is also very expressive and charming. It is in very good original condition with slight signs of wear commensurate with its age.
Two more boxers are offered separately.
Because each animal is handmade, it is always unique with a different expression and a different shape and size.
