Stunning big cat sculpture of impressive size, from the Jugendstil period, made in the 1900 in Austria.
The tiger is depicted in motion, striding with its mouth open. The big cat has a wonderful appearance – it seems to be made of bronze, but is actually ceramics with a shiny glaze. The lion has a black ceramic base.
The tiger is modeled realistically, with its characteristically patterned fur.
Measurements approx.: height 8,66 in - 22 cm, width 14,76 in - 37,5 cm, depth 5,91 in - 15 cm
The ceramic sculpture is in good condition and will be a striking addition to your dresser, table, or shelf.
