Stunning big cat sculpture of impressive size, from the Art Deco period, late 1920s/early 1930s, from France.
The tiger is depicted in motion, striding with its mouth open. The big cat has a wonderful appearance – it seems to be made of bronze, but is actually terracotta with a bronze finish.
The tiger is modeled realistically, with its characteristically patterned fur.
Measurements approx.: height 9,06 in - 23 cm, width 26,54 in - 67,4 cm, depth 5,51 in - 14 cm
