Very impressive large figure of a Mastiff Bronze Dog , It is finely detailed. The clasp holding the chain on the dog's collar is also cast bronze. Finished in a dark brown patina, this beautiful sculpture . It is a powerful subject as the dog lunges on his chain . This nineteenth-century movement presented animals with realistic anatomy in action. signed Valton .
