About the Item

Large French Art Deco Sculpture Borzoi Dogs Beautifully cast pair of borzoi dogs with good detail and well-aged patina. They are cast in spelter with a cold painted green finish. The pair stands on a 40 mm thick portico marble base with rear chamfered corners and clad to the front in onyx. All in excellent condition. In the style of Menneville (1887 - 1960), a prolific sculptor of Art Deco figurines. Measures: Height: 24.5 cm Width: 55 cm Depth: 16.5 cm circa: 1920s.
