About the Item

A large nicely detailed carved wooden sculpture of a Tang style horse coming to a halt, on wooden base in its original finish, probably Chinese in origin, dating probably to the early 20th century. Very good overall condition, with some losses, shrinkage cracks, old repairs, and other imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Approximately 26 in H x 37 in W x 11 in D. Ref: 8
