A French 'spaghetti' poodle, stamped 'Made in France' in unusual maroon with a yellow collar. Attributed to a Vallauris pottery.
A very appealing fellow. His upright posture and attentive gaze make him very lifelike. Full of charm.
Minor wear to the fur in the form of very small chips. Overall good to very good condition.
What a lovely and whimsical figure this is! Evocative of Paris in the 1950s and 60s, this is a collectable for poodle lovers but also just a charming bit of decorative art for anyone.
While he’s not very large, neither is he the trinket size spaghetti poodle you’ll usually find. He’ll fit nicely on a side table, beside a lamp, on a bookshelf or adding charm to a mantle piece.
