An elegant and highly decorative metal rooster sculpture by Michel Anasse (1930–2020), one of the key figures of French modernist metalwork.
This exceptional piece showcases Anasse’s signature vocabulary: dynamic lines, sculptural volumes, and a refined interplay between forged iron and welded rods.
The stylised plumage, formed by radiating bundles of metal rods, gives the sculpture a strong graphic presence, while the hammered metal body adds depth and movement.
The work stands on its original base, allowing effortless placement on a console, sideboard or pedestal.
Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, consistent patina.
