Exceptional Pair of 1970s Monumental Hollywood Regency Brass Deer — Attributed to the Style of Sarreid Ltd. / Maison Jansen
A striking and highly decorative pair of monumental brass deer, crafted in the 1970s and attributed to the celebrated Hollywood Regency design tradition associated with Sarreid Ltd. and Maison Jansen. Their elongated silhouettes, beautifully engraved neck detailing, and golden surfaces with beautiful patina, embody the glamorous sculptural language of European brass ateliers active in Italy, France, and Spain during this era.
The stag, with its dramatic multi-branch antlers and elegant posture, forms a commanding centerpiece, while the doe offers a poised and graceful counterpart. Together, they create a sculptural duet ideal for entry halls, boutique interiors, hotels, luxury retail spaces, or sophisticated residential settings.
These pieces are typical of the refined brass craftsmanship produced for the high-end decorative market in the 1960s–70s, where artisan workshops executed designs for major design houses. Their scale, finish, and stylistic coherence make them excellent examples of the period.

Provenance
Private European collection. Most likely produced in Italy or France during the height of the Hollywood Regency movement, with stylistic parallels to brass works by Sarreid Ltd., Maison Jansen, and other refined ateliers active in the 1970s.

The deers will be shipped insured overseas in a custom made wooden crate. Cost of transport to the US, Euro 925, is crate included when we handle the shipping which we highly recommend.
