About the Item
Beautiful and cute, vintage Murano hand blown rainbow Filigrana ribbons with gold flecks Italian art glass puppy dog figurine or paperweight. The piece is documented to the Fratelli Toso company, with label underneath. The bottom has a blue and silver “Murano Glass - Made In Italy” label, a bit worn. It has cut black and white canes for the eyes. The body of the dog has about 9 or 10 different colors, some in a repeating pattern and others in a large section of all different colors. They include white, cobalt blue, pink, red, dark green, lavender purple, yellow, light blue, teal, and plum. The ears, collar, tail and little paws are filled with gold leaf. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or curio cabinet. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures: 4" tall x 2 5/8” long (nose to tail) x 2 1/4” wide.
