This very fine early example from the highly skilled local craftsmen from the small Italian island of Murano
This is a very large and beautifully modelled piece that displays very natural movement and good detail.
It has been hand-blown in heavy glass of rich translucent colours which include blue, red and metallic silver cased in amber and clear glass. This most eye-catching fish is finished with beautiful, rare millefiori glass eyes made in a cane of green, white and red.
This very exotic glass sculpture is mounted on a permanent integral glass stand which has a ribbed design with outspread feet in matching clear and amber glass.
This sculpture is in perfect condition. It displays beautifully with its spectacular colours especially in natural bright light.
