Beautiful, and large, vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso light blue with rich sapphire blue spots Italian art glass turtle figure sculpture. The piece is attributed to the Salviati company. The body very minimalistic and abstract. The polka-dot pattern really makes it stand out. The turtle is also made with Uranium / UV reactive glass, as It glows neon green under a black light (see photos). It is made with solid and very heavy glass. Would make a great display piece on any desk, credenza, or coffee table. Mid-century era. Measures 9 1/4" long from head to tail x 5 3/4" wide x 3 3/4" tall.

Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso sapphire blue to clear Italian art glass fish on base sculpture. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, circa 1950s. Published in his book (see photo), model 6180, and a later model number 6913 is in the same shape. The fish has little blue murine eyes, with white Latticino ribbons on the fins and tail. It is balanced on a clear glass base. Would make a great display piece on any dresser, coffee table, or display cabinet. Mid-century era. Would make a great addition to any Nautical, Marine / Ocean theme room. Measures: 10 1/2" tall x 7" long x 3 1/2" wide. Last photo shows other colors currently available in the gallery.
