About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso opalescent pink and white Italian art glass puppy dog figure / sculpture. The piece was created in the style of designer Archimede Seguso, in a minimalistic abstract shape. The dog has an inner layer of solid white, with dark and light pink over it. Has a thick outer layer of clear glass, and has pieces of very light pink, almost white, opalescent glass attached to it, in the main features. It has floppy ears, face, nose and tail done in the opalescent glass. It also has 2 opal eyes on the face. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or curio cabinet. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Late Mid-century era. A must for the dog lover in your family. Measures: 7 1/2" tall x 5” long x 2 3/4” wide.
