About the Item
Charming animal figurine, a limited edition, in form of an owl by famous glass manufacturer Daum, Nancy in France, by artist Jean-Pierre Demarchi.
The owl is made of pate de verre - this very difficult manufacturing process is only mastered by a few master glassmakers. The pate de verre is of green colour with different shades of green.
The figure sits on a round base that is signed all around with the artist's name Demarchi, DAUM and FRANCE. The limitation can be read on the base behind the owl: 193/250.
Measurements approx.: height 5,31 in - 13,5 cm, diameter 3,15 in - 8 cm.
Beautiful design of an owl, one of the most important glass manufacturers in France - in a limited edition of only 250 pieces.
