A sculptural pair of hand-carved wooden molds from Burma (Myanmar), originally used in the creation of paper mache objects. Each piece is fashioned from a single block of hardwood with a rch, dark patina earned through years of use. The minimalist, rounded forms feature incised circular motifs and subtle triangular reliefs that lend them a strikingly modern, almost abstract presence.
