Pair of German sterling silver pheasants, ca 1920. The birds are caught midstride on scaly talons. The rooster has tucked-down wings and looks warily to the side while the hen is nervously flapping away. An attractive but stressed-out couple with nicely delineated plumage and expressive faces. Marked.
