About the Item
This elegant pair of Art Deco salt shakers is a unique collector's item and a refined addition to the table. Crafted from Norwegian silver and enameled with great precision, they feature a delicate owl-inspired motif, a symbol of wisdom and distinction. Created by renowned goldsmith David Andersen, famous for his excellent silver enamel technique, a hallmark of mid-20th-century Norwegian jewelry.
The work dates from around 1950 and is duly stamped on the base with the "925" mark, certifying its authenticity and purity in sterling silver. Each piece, approximately 5.5 x 2 x 2 cm, reflects the careful craftsmanship with which it was conceived. They feature minimal, barely perceptible microchips due to use, which do not detract from their decorative and collectible character.
The set is ideal for both collectors of Scandinavian pieces and those seeking a sophisticated accent to their tableware.
