About the Item
Pair of finely detailed model pheasants in 800 standard silver made in Italy circa 1950 and in excellent condition. Each silver pheasant is cast and hand-chased to give a lively and lifelike appearance standing in a courting pose. The male silver pheasant is larger with his tail raised high and straight, while the female is smaller and in a more submissive pose.
Dimensions shown are for the male bird. Dimensions for the pheasant hen are 360mm long and 110mm tall (14¼" x 4¼")
