About the Item
This pair of petite French lion sculptures from the mid 20th century features two lions made of composition, peacefully sitting on a base. Depicted with great simplicity, the lions are guardians, with their tail neatly tucked in their back. Light in color and small in size, these French lions circa 1950-1960 would be wonderful as decorative objects, placed anywhere in a home. Their light complexion would make them contrast nicely placed on a dark wood chest of drawers, credenza or console table.
