Pair of Tall, Mid-Century Modern Brass Birds (Cranes or Flamingos)
These two birds are complementary, being of the same style but subtly different poses.
We love the center line detail of the tails and the expressive curvatures of the wings.
Approximate measurements: 13 x 5.25 x 3.25 inches and 12.5 x 5.25 x 4 inches.
Good vintage condition. Could probably benefit from polishing/cleaning.

Large Blown Glass Toucan by Färe-Marcolin
This beautiful toucan sculpture measures about 11 inches high! It is in good vintage condition overall, showing a little wear and a small, clean chip off the tip of the beak, shown in the last photo though it is hard to photograph and hard to see in photos.
"Färe-Marcolin" is what the FM stands for in FM Konstglas.
Josef Marcolin (1933-2015), who originallly lived and was trained as a glassblower in Murano, Italy, moved to Sweden with his brother Benito in 1954. They made beautiful blown glass/crystal sculptures such as this one, which are known for their unique blend of Murano and Swedish style. They started their own glass sculpture company in the 60s, FM Konstglas. In 1991 they moved back to Italy and continued to create for a short time under the name Sardinia Crystal...
