About the Item

Pair of terracotta lions on wooden bases: each lion reclines on a rectangular base and holds a snake under its paw. Both lions are exceptionally beautiful and richly detailed, with a lovely patina, as they have never been displayed outdoors. They are presented on modern wooden bases in two different colors. There are some cracks and chips, and restorations to the terracotta bases. Dimensions of the lions: approx. 68cm high, 104cm wide x 50cm deep. Dimensions of the set with bases: approx. 108cm high, 115cm wide x 58cm deep.
